Tonight on LOST

Tonight you will hear something in the last scene that will blow your mind about the show. It keeps in line with my feeling that the island is some sort of purgatory where you purge your past transgressions. Please Please let me know what you think about what Hurley finds out at the end by commenting on this blog.

That comment, in Italian, said by that girl that desmond and friends were rescuing was "Io non sta sola" which means, " I am not alone"!!!!!

Since the idea that the island is purgatory has been downplayed by the writers, I'm wondering if maybe the Dharma initiative covered up that there were any survivors to trap them on the island and continue doing research and experiments. It's the only reason I could come up with why everyone would believe there were no survivors when clearly there are...

I'd like to echo back to a comment
I made two weeks ago:

Ethan is so ubiquitous, I have a feeling he has a twin brother (one for the island, one for the real world). Once again, Juliette was knocked "unconscious" before getting to the island. All of the characters so far have arrived on the island from unconsciousness. This is a huge plot hole that can be filled by whatever explanation they decide on.

They either die before getting to the island, or they're cloned. If cloned, that would explain why no one could leave the island, because the original bodies were found. They're no longer people, they're property.

These theories, being purgatory or cloning, would explain why their contact with the world while on the island is done thru video recordings. This means it could be in the far future.

They also violated a rule the writers made up, which is "once you're dead, you're dead." Patch was clearly dead.

I suspect the writers left the theories out there for the audience to come up with their own. Then they pick the one that suits them for good television.

Too many questions keep popping up that I feel any ending will be disproved by past incidents.

I have already read that they killed Nikki and Paolo just because they were getting bad mouthed on message boards. It seems at times that they're writing the show according to public sentiment. Never a good thing to do.
