Read the lyrics and interpret this question:

In the stanza: "I don't care if I never get back" is the young lady saying that she doesn't care if she ever goes to another baseball game because this one has made her so happy?

Or is saying she doesn't care if she ever goes back home because the ball park is such a wonderful diversion from her sad, pathetic life has an early twentieth century woman?
