it totally sucks that you mentioned the fast forward last week- it totally threw the entire finale for my husband and myself. Next time, give a spoiler alert! The episode would have been so much better not knowing it was the future...
I didn't know it was that big of a plot point...And are we still sure it was a flash forward?...

I am not sure it is a flash forward. When they showed Jack talking to the doctor. The doctor asked Jack how many drinks he had and Jack said go get my father and if I am as drunk as he is you can have something to say. Well we know Jack father died. so is it a flash forward?
